Just a quick post to show a couple of pictures of the snow we had, earlier this month.The top one is a view along the disused railway track, that passes behind our bungalow, and stretches just over the Welsh border, meeting the River Dee nr Queensferry. It was a nice sunny day when my stepmum and I walked along here, but very cold.
The lower one shows some bullocks, foraging in the snow, on the outskirts of Delamere forest, another of our regular haunts.
We are due to have a milder couple of days this weekend, but the cold snap is forecast to return next week. Brrrr
Hope this means that the skiing will be good when I go for a break, [unfortunate choice of words], in March.

I thought I'd said where the pictures were taken, in the post.
They are both near to Chester, in England. The old railway line passes our bungalow, in Chester and joined a line that runs from Birkenhead to Wrexham [which is in North Wales]. Delamere Forest is in Cheshire and is popular with walkers and, cyclists, and has an adventure centre and cafe.
